MFW's exceptional quality was highlighted when we submitted six of our 2012 wines to ROBERT PARKER's "Wine Advocate," one of the most respected voices in the world of wine criticism. In an extraordinary achievement that is rarely seen in the industry, ALL six wines scored over 90 points. This success isn't just a testament to our commitment to excellence but a truly exciting accomplishment that sets us apart in the wine community!

Red Mountain ‘Best of Show’ - 2017 Capital Food and Wine Festival
In late 2017, a remarkable event unfolded: 3,000 wines were blind-tasted for the Seattle Times "Top 50" list. Among this extensive collection from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia, Andy Perdue of Great Northwest Wines singled out Mosquito Fleet's 2013 R34 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon as the top Cabernet Sauvignon in the entire Northwest! Amidst such fierce competition, our wine emerged as the best Cabernet Sauvignon and secured the #3 spot overall on the coveted "Seattle Times TOP 50" list.

In 2016, we proudly submitted three of our 2014 wines to the esteemed Capital City Wine & Food Fest, where they all earned Gold medals. Our standout achievement was the 2014 Malbec, which not only garnered the title of "BEST RED WINE" but also received the prestigious “OVERALL BEST OF SHOW” award. This was our first Malbec, and it quickly sold out! Fans of this vintage will be thrilled to know that we bottled another Malbec in 2019, and we have begun sourcing new Malbec from 24-year-old vines at Konnowac Vineyard as of 2018. Truly great stuff, and our 2014 wines continue to collect accolades!

In 2019, our 2011 Griffersen Reserve Port was submitted to Great Northwest Wines for evaluation, and we were elated with the results. Our unique Port not only made it to the "Seattle Times Top 25" list of the best wines in the Northwest but secured an impressive #10 spot! Even more remarkably, it was the only port to be featured on the list for the entire year, underscoring our commitment to crafting distinctive and noteworthy wines.
